TRAINING WORKSHOP EXAMPLES

I design and deliver project management and change management trainings to meet my client's requirements.  

There are an infinite number of variables:

  • Audience: number,level of experience, roles & responsibilities, relationships
  • Time Allocation: 3 hours - 4 days, 1 session - many sessions
  • Objectives: introductory/intensive, process skills/people skills, PRINCE2 compatible, SCRUM-like [Apologies for the jargon!] , train the trainer

Here are some examples of my 2009 work: 

 

Primary Care Trust
Design and delivery of comprehensive training package in Project Management for a Primary Care Trust seeking Foundation Status. The brief was to suggest a project management approach that was straightforward, jargon -free and applicable to a wide variety of projects. The approach also had to be compliant with a method of project management called PRINCE2. The training package included trainer notes, slides and a delegate pack.

World Wide Manufacturing & Engineering
Design and delivery of workshops on the principles, tools and techniques of managing change and projects. The brief was that the workshop would be suitable for delegates with a wide range of roles and responsibilities. The approach also had to be compliant with a method of project management called Six Sigma; many of the delegates would already have Six Sigma qualifications [Black, Green or Yellow belts] and some held the title "Project Manager". The course was about broadening their understanding of project management and the application of the techniques to manage change. It included influencing skills, negotiation skills, and understanding how people react to change.

World Wide IT Function
Working with the IT Director to design and delivery of two-day workshops based an approach to project management called SCRUM. Delegates come from all over the world to participate; the course was delivered in English.
